The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation inspires and funds game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). After the devastating loss of their sons, Chad and Michael, the Carr and Mosier families have joined forces to be even tougher together in the fight for a cure.

Chad was a precious, fun-loving little boy when he was diagnosed with DIPG on September 23, 2014 – just 3 days before his 4th birthday. After bravely enduring 30 rounds of radiation and a clinical trial in New York, sadly Chad gained his angel wings just 15 months after his diagnosis. His memory is what pushes his family to continue the fight against DIPG.

A week after his 6th birthday, in his 2nd week of kindergarten, Michael was diagnosed with DIPG. He fought bravely for nearly 9 months, with a determination and strength well beyond his years. Michael created a “to-do list” every day during his illness. His family works to complete the final item on Michael’s checklist: Defeat DIPG.
