The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundations’ Superhero Sprint & 6K race was created in honor of Michael Mosier, a 6-year-old little boy from Bethesda, Maryland, who battled DIPG for 8.5 months before passing away in May 2015.

September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month)

“RunTough for ChadTough” originated in 2014 when a group of neighbors in Saline, MI came together in support of Chad Carr, a 3-year-old boy who had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer called DIPG.
