Alana (Lani) Gribble

How do you describe your child in just a few words?

Lani was an energetic ball of joy. She loved princesses, horses, and her cat, Tina. She adored being outside, gardening, and playing with her friends. She was an only child and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing dress-up, singing, and reading.

On Thursday, May 26, 2017, Lani was diagnosed with DIPG. Nine days later, she had surgery followed by radiation. Still, pediatric brain cancer didn’t stop Lani from being the vivacious little girl she was. She lived her life to its fullest and fought valiantly for 14 ½ months, losing her battle at age 4 on August 3, 2018.

She is missed dearly every day by her family.
