Aniyah Gray

September 27, 2011 – June 17, 2016

Aniyah was a very fun, lovable 3 year old who just wanted to be a kid, live life, and grow into a beautiful young girl!!!!  Some time back in late March 2015, Aniyah started complaining of headaches and tilting her head kinda sideways.  After about a week and a half off and on we scheduled an appointment with her pediatrician, who saw her and determined it wasn’t that major but maybe Bell’s Palsy but wanted a routine MRI just to confirm.  On April the 16, 2015, we did an MRI and to our surprise the doctors discovered a brain tumor. And not just any brain tumor — an inoperable incurable brain tumor, and our lives were forever changed.  After a 5 day hospital stay, we needed a break and decided to go home and weigh our options.  After careful consideration, we decided to go with 6 weeks radiation, along with chemo.  Aniyah finished radiation on June 24, 2015, and we are awaiting a second MRI and just praying and believing in the miracle that God has already performed!!! Following her brave battle, Aniyah earned her angel wings on June 17, 2016.
