June 4, 1995 – December 29, 2020

Cameron’s journey was short but difficult.

In May 2020, after suffering from ‘panic attacks,’ nausea spells, and vision loss, a brain scan revealed his tumor. Although not located on his brain stem initially, pathology reports confirmed it to be H3K27M, the deadly mutant type that defines DIPG. He was operated on in June and went through chemo and radiation, but the treatment was unsuccessful and his disease progressed rapidly and spread to his cerebrospinal fluid and spinal column. He passed away in December 2020, 7 months after being diagnosed.

Cameron was an amazing human being who could make a friend out of anyone he met. He had a passionate heart for the Lord and for people, and a childlike spirit of innocence and mischief. He loved Lord of the Rings, Legos (especially Bionicles), and playing video games.

He was best friends with his mom, and he was his sister Maddie’s hero. He married the love of his life, Lisi, in January of 2019, and loved her until his last breath.

We miss you so much, Cam.
