The initial seed funding provided by the ChadTough Foundation has helped University of Michigan researchers Dr. Maria Castro and Dr. Pedro Lowenstein make major strides. Their immunotherapy method has shown promise in DIPG-bearing mice. The data collected allowed them to receive a new grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to continue their game-changing research.
