In 2015, the Carrs and Mosiers endured the terrible loss of their sons, Chad and Michael. But from this tragedy came two charitable foundations built on hope. And now, the two foundations are coming together to form the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, with their hope redefined. Because a cure for DIPG isn’t a matter of “if” but “when.”

Our mission is even stronger
The ChadTough Foundation and Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation aren’t strangers to working side by side. Together, they’ve partnered to grant almost $7 million to 21 institutions around the world over the last 4 years. Separately, they’ve funded an additional $5 million, bringing their total impact to over $12 million. Their shared mission of inspiring game-changing research for effective treatments hasn’t changed — it has grown stronger.
Family Partners
The ties run deep
We believe a collaborative approach is the only way a cure will be found, so we welcome the help of other families who want to join in funding pediatric brain cancer research (with an emphasis on DIPG) in honor of their children through our Family Partner program. These families’ lives have been deeply impacted by pediatric brain cancer as well. This combined power will lead to more funding of more research, with the goal of a cure for DIPG and other pediatric brain cancers sooner than would otherwise be possible.
