Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation! We offer volunteer opportunities to fit different time commitments and levels of involvement. Here are some examples of each type:
When a need for a volunteer leader arises, we will look for a skill match and will reach out with a job description and expected commitment level to inquire about interest. Examples of these roles might include leading the auction solicitation/management effort for the Tee’d Off women’s golf outing, overseeing the Family Fun Zone for RunTough, further developing and managing the ChadTough YouTube channel, etc.
Some volunteers have a favorite event that they like to be involved with annually. Event-based roles may include setup/cleanup at an event, manning an information booth or merchandise table, guest services at an event, etc.
Some people like to volunteer based on a particular skill set they possess. Examples of task-based volunteer roles include writing stories for our website, developing creative assets (for projects such as printed materials or our social media), database management, etc.
For those who cannot commit to a large or regular volunteer role, we offer tasks that can be done independently such as stuffing envelopes, picking up donations, dropping off auction items, etc.
*Please note that for some volunteer tasks you must be 18 years old or older.

Research is the key
In many respects, DIPG and other forms of pediatric brain cancer are still a mystery. Your donations fund important research to help discover this disease’s weaknesses.
